Missions
We are called to be the "salt of the earth" and the "light of the world" (Matthew 5:13-14). Christ commissioned us in Matthew 28 to "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit." In response to Christ's call and out of love for others, we at Woodhaven are involved in mission and outreach in a variety of ways including:
- Support of Missionaries who serve in various places around the world
- Mission trips that people from Woodhaven participate in
- Financial and physical support to organizations such as Byron Community Ministries, Degage, Teen Challenge, Westown Jubilee, Western Theological Seminary, World Vision, Shepherds Ministries, Reformed Church World Service, Words of Hope and many more!
